Solar radio controlled watch that adds China to have worldwide coverage. Solar powered, so never needs a battery.
Easily switch between different time zones.
5 alarms and a snooze alarm.
Excellent watch.

I have had this watch for only a few weeks now but I think it's is great.
Lots of function, good display and love the way it was the only timepiece in the house that gave the correct time on sunday after the clocks went forward (radio controlled time correction).

This is one of the best modules for a casio G-shock (same module as the G9010). The wave-ceptor technology and solar power make it a very reliable timepiece and the rally timer (simultaneous countdown and stopwatch) and alarms are also very useful. The time syncs very reliably. It looks nice and is slightly smaller than some of the other G-shocks, which are over-sized in my opinion. The resin band is very comfortable. My only gripes are that the alarms should be louder and last longer, and that the product website stated that the countdown timer has an auto-repeat function, which it does not, sadly.
Also worth considering is the G7700/7710, which does not have wave-ceptor or solar power, but has multiple repeating timers and many other features. Recommended.

Ive always wanted a g shock watch and i wasnt disappointed with this model.its quite large but not huge.has a clear display and is easy to read,is very well made.the watch gets a radio signal to keep the time spot on,have had casio radio controlled watches before with out any problems.and changes between summer and winter time automatically.this watch can be set to shut down at night to save power but still keep the right time.the stop watch and count down timer have a range of 24hrs which i find handy.the whole face lights up with the illumination switch not just part of the face.the same switch can also be set to automatically light the face when you have the watch at a certain angle.

I like the watch very much. I'm far from a radio transmitter, approx. 2000km, and the watch receive without problem the time, in the middle of the night. Look nice and the display can be read easy.
