High spec mode. Research proves this to be a wise alternative to a pathfinder model. Very chuffed with it-having owned several g-shocks this one is the best yet. The strap is very comfortable, the lip of the end works well, the watch sensor does not stick into your arm should you wear it on your right wrist. Very good looking watch in person. The manual is large explaining everything well with diagrams where neccesary.
The screen shows all the data at once, the countdown timer is 24hr and there are other features that mean this watch has the best of everything.
Further reading on a g-shock forum will show this to be held in the highest regard and hugely poular. Be aware there are the MIRO(orange) and MIIW(white) colour versions, which are harder to get, the white being a Japan only model. Black is the best though!

i bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and all i can say is he loves it. great product and a good company to deal with, would recommend.

The best G-shock i've ever had. Very cool design, not to big, very comfortable. Barometer and thermometer are ok, but i recalibrated a little bit baro about 2 hPa.

I have this watch for over a month and I'm pretty happy with it. I enjoyed the solar battery a lot and it makes it more interesting for a hardcore user compared to the Suunto Core, having a good protection as a bonus.
The only problem was that from time to time the altitude sensor doesn't work very good.. like showing -45m on the seaside. Except this, no problems until now. One minor annoying thing is that the sensor is pretty big on the side, so when you bike for longer periods (3h+) it gets a little uncomfortable,

i bought these watch about 4months ago...
really have to say am happy and it's my first G-shock.
they are huge without being too large and am personally very pleased to wear them every day.
only 4stars because it's a bit shame that they are all plastic to they look a bit cheap, but other than that great price for great watch!!!
